Atomspheric pressure plasma jet (APPJ) has many applications caused by the simple and flexible configuration. It can be used on surface treatment, medical sterilization or agricultural fertilization. An air gas-filled plasma jet is produced and pointing to the water surface. When the high voltage electrode approaches to the water surface, a sudden event of the plasma transition from corona to streamer was observed. The effect of plasma acting on water surface is studied by current profile, Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES), concentration of hydrogen ions and conductivity of plasma treated water. The water qualities were changed after the plasma treatment, it becomes more acidic as conductivity increases. The spectrum of the streamer discharge at various measured height is presented. The preliminary study of our hydroponic plant is presented.
