Numerical study on controllability of wavepacket creation

In this talk we discuss how easy/difficult a quantum control is, in other words, controllability problem. As we proposed, controllability can be clearly understood from two kinds of plots, the probability-energy plot and the energy-control-time plot, which provides important information such as the limitation of the shortest control time for a given fidelity. In this talk, we discuss the controllability in wavepacket creation. We found that the controllability strongly depends on the shape of wavepacket.
