Dark matter phenomena were generally observed in spiral galaxies. However, the phenomena were not always observed in large elliptical galaxies, which was considered the merging products of spiral galaxies. We assume that the dark matter of elliptical galaxies might have different spatial distributions from spiral galaxies have. We selected elliptical galaxies and their satellite galaxies from The Extragalactic Distance Database (EDD) and determined the dynamical masses from the motions of the satellite galaxies. We compared our results with the dynamics of the spiral galaxies of EDD. Our results showed that the dark mass fractions of the elliptical and spiral galaxies were similar and independent from galaxy morphological type.
