OR Gate formed by optical neurons

An optical OR gate formed by optical neurons based on reservoir computing is proposed. The optical neurons consist of the directional couplers, the erbium-doped optical fibre amplifiers, and the optical fibres. By adjusting the phase modulator in the system, the OR gate can be obtained.
